Try instead a more healthy alternative. Making your own energy drink is actually quite easy. There are plenty of recipes you can try.

For example, you can mix filtered water, a slice of lemon and a pinch of cayenne pepper to make a healthy drink that will keep you hydrated and even give you a boost of energy. The lemon maintains a good pH level in your body and the cayenne pepper helps raise energy levels.

Another recipe you can try is with hot water, honey to taste, 1” of fresh ginger root, ¼ tsp of ground cardamon and ¼ tsp of tumeric. Cut two thin slices of ginger and put them in a cup, juice the remaining ginger and add the spices with hot water.

You can also try a drink made with a ripe banana, ¼ cup of raw almonds, a scoop of protein powder, 2 kale leaves, ½ cup of plain yogurt and a cup of milk.
